Parks and Recreation offers variety of programs and activities in February

Programs offered during February by the Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department:

Feb. 1 — Final NYSCA Coaches Certification class will be offered at Hall Gym from 6:30-7 p.m. No charge.

Feb. 1 — Senior Social Luncheon, 10 a.m.-noon,Miller Center. No charge.

Feb. 3 — Father Daughter Dance, 6-9 p.m., at the Civic Center. Cost: $8, fathers and $6, daughters.

Feb. 4 — Girl’s Fast Pitch Softball Clinic, 1-5 p.m., at Hall Gym. No charge.

Feb. 5 — Puppy Kindergarten (class three of six) 5:45-6:45 p.m. at the Civic Center.

Feb. 5 — Basic Home Manners Session 1 (class three of six) 7-8 p.m., Civic Center.

Feb. 7 — Valentine Candles (class one of two) 6-8 p.m., at City Park Center. Cost for both classes: $12, city residents, $24, non-city residents.

Feb. 8 — Miller Center Steppers Interest Meeting, 6 p.m., Miller Center. No charge.

Feb. 10 — Learn How to Learn, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., City Park Center. Cost: $25, city residents and $40, nonresidents.

Feb. 10 — New Creative Memories, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., City Park Center. Cost: $12 per participant.

Feb. 10 — Catawba Basketball Game, 3:30 p.m., Hall/Goodman gyms. No charge.

Feb. 10 — Junior Sting Girl’s Basketball Clinic, 10 a.m.-noon, Hall Gym. No charge.

Feb. 10 — Volleyball Fundamentals, 1-3 p.m., Miller Center. Cost: $5, city residents and $10, nonresidents.

Feb. 12 — Basic Home Manners Session 1 (class four of six) 7-8 p.m., Civic Center.

Feb. 12 — Puppy Kindergarten (class four of six) 5:45-6:45 p.m., Civic Center.

Feb. 13 — Valentine’s Day Cookie Baking, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Miller Center. Cost: $5, city residents and $10, nonresidents.

Feb. 13 — Advanced Hair Braiding, 5-7 p.m., Miller Center. Cost: $15, city resident and $30, nonresidents.

Feb. 14 — Parent’s Night Out and Valentine’s Fun for Kids, 5-8 p.m., Civic Center. Cost: $2, city residents and $4 nonresidents.

Feb. 19 — February Fun Day, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., City Park Center. Cost: $15, city residents and $30, nonresidents.

Feb. 19 — Natural Flower and Garden Project, City Park Center. No charge.

Feb. 19 — Fabulous February Fun Day, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Miller Center. Cost, $15, city residents and $30, nonresidents.

Feb. 19 — Basic Home Manners Session 1 (class five of six) 7-8 p.m., Civic Center.

Feb. 19 — Puppy Kindergarten (class five of six) 5:45-6:45 p.m., Civic Center.

Feb. 23 — Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, 7-9 p.m., Wrenn House. Cost: $32, city residents and $42, nonresidents. Space is limited to six to eight participants.

Feb. 26 — Basic Home Manners Session 1 (class six of six) 7-8 p.m., at the Civic Center.

Feb. 26 — Puppy Kindergarten (class six of six) 5:45-6:45 p.m., Civic Center.
