Man accused of sex crimes gets more charges
GEORGETOWN, S.C. — A Salisbury man accused of sex crimes was arrested in South Carolina on Tuesday after deputies said he committed multiple sexual acts on a minor in 2004.
Brian David Dwyer, 413 Mitchell Ave., was previously charged by Salisbury Police in September with five counts of felony indecent liberties with children and five counts of felony first-degree sex offense.
Georgetown officers believe the incidents happened in 2004 when Dwyer was living at 1365 Weymouth Drive, according to authorities there.
Authorities said the child’s mother reported the incident.
The report said Dwyer committed sexual acts when the girl was 7 years old and then again when she was 11.
In September, Salisbury Police said the felony charges stemmed from incidents that occurred over a series of years.
Dwyer was released in September after posting a $25,000 bond.
