• The Rowan County Board of Health meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.
• Salisbury City Council’s annual retreat has been postponed. The retreat was scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at the Rowan Museum and will be rescheduled at a later date.
• The Open House for the Families First Court Child Care Center has been postponed due to the impending inclement weather. The new date is Tuesday, Feb. 18, 5–6 p.m.
• The Rowan County Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event scheduled for tonight at the Salisbury Country Club has been rescheduled to Feb. 24.
The chamber’s Women in Business event scheduled for Feb. 11 at Salisbury Salon & Spa will be rescheduled at a later date.
• The Rowan History Club program for Tuesday night has been cancelled.
• The Cabarrus County Chamber of Commerce and Modern Eye Care have postponed Tuesday night’s Biz After Hours event until Feb. 18.
• Due to the possible inclement weather, the Salisbury Rotary Club has postponed its Wednesday night 2/12 producer night at Piedmont Players Theater until the following Wednesday 2/19, same time, 6 p.m. reception.
• IF Rowan-Salisbury Schools close this Thursday, Feb 13, (due to weather), Communities In Schools of Rowan County will cancel volunteer training for the same day and reschedule for Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. Call the CIS Rowan office to reschedule 704-797-0210.
