Deadline is Tuesday for discounted price for Cuba trip

Tuesday is the deadline to get the discounted price for a trip to Cuba sponsored by the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce.

The trip is set for Nov. 10 through 17. People who place a $500 deposit by Tuesday will receive a $200 discount from the package price of $3,599 per person.

The price includes roundtrip airfare from Miami, Florida. The tour includes seven nights of first class hotel accommodations, 16 meals, professional tour escort, baggage handling, Cuban travel visa, Cuban medical insurance, sightseeing and admission to all attractions per itinerary.

Travelers will delight in Cuba’s storied history from the Museum of the Revolution to Ernest Hemingway’s Farm. They will visit the home and studio of a famous artist, a classic car enthusiast club as well as the San Jose Craft Market, where local artisans show off their handmade goods. Travelers will enjoy UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Old Havana and the beautiful countryside of Pinar del Rio, where a visit to a local tobacco farm and cigar factory is included. The trip includes one night at the Airport Miami Marriott and five nights at the Melia Havana Hotel.
