Rowan weather: Cooooold train brings icy nights

At 7:45 it is 29 degrees on Oct. 19. Talk about frost on the pumpkin! It’s cold out there, and you had to do quite a bit of scraping to get to work this morning.

In case you didn’t know, we were under a freeze warning.

The frost will linger until around 9 a.m., when the sun will warm things up. The high today will be 58 with mostly calm winds.

Expect another cold, frozen night, with a low around 31 and no wind. You’ll be reaching for the ice scraper again in the morning.

Tuesday will start frosty and then warm up to 67 degrees, a noticeable difference. And Tuesday’s low should be around 39, but outlying areas could see colder temperatures.

Wednesday, the warmth is back, when sunny skies will lead to a high of 72. The low will be just 44 degrees.

Thursday is very much the same, with a high of 72 and an even warmer low of 50.

For Friday, we stick to 72 again, with a low of 47.

Saturday and Sunday should be beautiful and a little cooler, with highs in the 60s.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 65 and a low of 47.

On Sunday, with partly sunny skies, the high will be 67.
