Meeting Jan. 12 about new road in Rowan
Transportation officials will hold an open-house public meeting next week for the proposed new multi-lane roadway in Salisbury, from Bendix Drive to Faith Road and Faith Road to U.S. 52 at Newsome Road.
“The purpose of this project is to improve traffic flow, safety and accessibility to commercial areas,” said Division Nine Engineer Pat Ivey.
The open-house public meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Salisbury Civic Center at 315 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. S., from 4 to 6 p.m.
Interested residents are encouraged to attend at any time during those hours; please note there will not be a formal presentation.
NCDOT and consultant staff will be available to provide information on the project, answer questions and receive comments.
