Rowan weather: Another muggy day

It’s a warm and muggy start to the day, with patchy fog in some areas before 10 a.m.

It will be cloudy and 79, with a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Wind will be from the southwest at 5-7 mph. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible.

Tonight has a 30 percent chance of showers, with more fog between midnight and 2 a.m. It will be cloudy and 70, with south southwest wind around 5 mph. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

Friday has a 20 percent chance of showers before 9 a.m., then showers and storms later in the day. It will be mostly cloudy and 85, with southwest wind at 7-13 mph, gusting up to 21 mph.

Friday night has a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 72 and south southwest winds at 8-10 mph, gusting to 18 mph. The low will be a sticky 72. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Saturday has a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with partly sunny skies and a high of 86. Southwest winds of 7-11 mph will shift to the west northwest in the afternoon and gust as high as 18 mph.

Saturday night has a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 66.

Sunday should be mostly sunny and 84, with a low of 64.

Monday will be partly sunny and 81. A 30 percent chance of showers moves in Monday night, with a low of 62.

Tuesday should be mostly sunny and 79, with a clear night and a low of 59.

Wednesday will be sunny and 82.
