Southern Avenue headlines 6th annual Earth Day Jam

April 19-20 at the Rowan County Fairgrounds

Proceeds benefit Happy Roots, a nonprofit that provides nature-based therapeutic and educational services to enhance the wellness of the community and the environment.

Ben Mynatt Nissan is sponsoring the raffling off a Brand New Nissan Kicks, on display in the showroom on Jake Alexander Blvd. Raffle tickets are $30 each and are limited to only 1,000 sold. The drawing will be held at 8pm Saturday, April 20 on the Main Stage.

Along with Memphis, Tennessee’s Southern Avenue, there will be music by Asheville’s Travers Brothership, indie-folk-rock duo Paleface, and Triad-based improv super-group CCC. An additional 12 acts will perform over the weekend including local bands 9 Day Trip, Big Break, Liam & The Nerdy Blues, Mama Tried, and more. Full schedule to be posted soon.
