Rowan weather: Small chance of showers

Today will be partly sunny and 81, with south winds at 5-9 mph. We’ll have a 20 percent chance of showers between 3 and 4 p.m., then a chance of showers and storms.

Tonight also has a 20 percent chance of showers, with a low of 62 and mostly cloudy skies, Winds will be south around 8 mph.

Friday will be mostly cloudy and 79, with a 30 percent chance of showers. Thunderstorms are possible after 1 p.m. Winds will be south southwest at 7-9 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, with higher amounts in thunderstorms.

The chance of showers and storms goes up to 50 percent Friday night. It will be mostly cloudy and 64, with south southwest wind at 3-5 mph. Again, less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, except in thunderstorms.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and 76. There will be a 70 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., then showers and storms between 11 a.m. and noon, then less chance of storms after noon. South southwest wind will be at 3-6 mph.

Saturday night has a 60 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy and 63.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy and 76, with a 70 percent chance of showers. The same chance of rain continues Sunday night, with showers before 9 p.m., then showers and storms for the rest of the night. It will be mostly cloudy and 58.

Monday will be mostly sunny and 74, with a 30 percent chance of showers before 8 a.m. It will be a clear night, with a low of 52.

Tuesday will be sunny and 73, with a mostly clear night and another low around 52.

Wednesday should be sunny and 76.
