ROCKWELL — A Rockwell man sent cellphone pictures of his private parts to an 11-year-old girl, according to authorities.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Orville Lee O’Quinn, 50, of the 3400 block of Lower Stone Church Road, with one count of felony dissemination of obscene material to minors under 13; two counts of felony taking indecent liberties with a child; and one count of felony first-degree sex offense with a minor.

Officials said the victim previously knew O’Quinn, who sent the girl the pictures in a text message.

The other charges are for inappropriate contact and touching involving the same girl, according to a report.

He remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
