Rowan weather: Spring has sprung

This first full day of spring is going to be a toasty 83, then temperatures drop Sunday. There is a chance of rain just about every day.

Saturday will have a 40 percent chance of rain before 9 a.m., then showers after that. It will be mostly cloudy and 70, with northeast wind around 6 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Saturday night will have a 40 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy and 46, with northeast wind at 3-5 mph.

Sunday will also have a 40 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy and just 54 degrees. Winds will be east northeast around 7 mph. Sunday night’s chance of showers will be 80 percent, with a low of 44.

Monday also has an 80 percent chance of showers, with a high of 61. The chance of rain goes down to 50 percent Monday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 44.

Tuesday will also have a 50 percent chance of showers, but it will be partly sunny and 63. The chance of rain goes up to 70 percent Tuesday night, which will be mostly cloudy and 50.

Wednesday’s chance of rain will be 60 percent, with cloudy skies and a high of 70. The low will be 48, with mostly cloudy skies and a 30 percent chance of rain.

Thursday should be partly sunny and 73.
